Kuala Lumpur, 6 March 2026 – Chery Malaysia is celebrating the upcoming festive season with its Hari-Hari, Hari Raya campaign, featuring special deals, interactive activities and attractive rewards designed to enhance Malaysians’ balik kampung journeys.
Running throughout 1 – 31 March 2026, the campaign introduces festive cash rebates across several models, particularly within Chery’s electrified lineup.

Chery’s promotion includes rebates starting from RM7,888, making its hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles more accessible during the festive period.

PHEV Range Designed for Long-Distance Travel
Chery’s plug-in hybrid models are engineered for long-distance efficiency, particularly suited for festive interstate travel.
When fully charged with a full tank of petrol, the PHEV models are capable of delivering a combined driving range of up to 1,200km, allowing drivers to complete long balik kampung trips with fewer refuelling stops.
Hari Raya Roadshow at LaLaport BBCC
As part of the campaign, Chery will host a Hari Raya Roadshow at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre.
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Test drive the Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo Cross HEV
- Participate in family-friendly activities
- Join a children’s colouring contest on 14 March
- Win Chery merchandise such as tote bags, baseball caps and limited-edition enamel pins
Customers who confirm a booking at the roadshow between 7 March and 5 April 2026 will also receive:

Raya ‘Fit-Check’ Contest at Showrooms Nationwide
Chery Malaysia is also introducing a unique PHEV Raya Fit-Check Challenge across its showrooms.
From 9 – 31 March, participants can enter the contest by:
- Visiting a Chery showroom
- Test-driving any PHEV vehicle
- Posting a photo with the vehicle on social media while wearing their best Hari Raya outfit
The contest features five prize categories, with rewards including smartphones and exclusive merchandise.

Chery’s Raya campaign is clearly built around one idea: long-distance travel confidence.
With claims of up to 1,200km combined range, their PHEV models are positioned almost like “electric road-trip cars” , perfect timing for the balik kampung season.
The rebates are fairly competitive too, especially on the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 lineup. But the real marketing hook here is the roadshow + social media contest strategy, which gets people physically into showrooms and interacting with the cars.
It’s a clever way to combine festive marketing with brand engagement and judging by how fast Chery has been growing in Malaysia, the timing couldn’t be better.
