Audi SQ8 e-tron quattro & Sportback e-tron quattro [Launch Review] – Powerful EV with 3 Motors!

Audi Malaysia has introduced two new high-performance models to its fully electric Audi e-tron range – the SQ8 e-tron and SQ8 Sportback e-tron.

Priced from RM519,990.00 and RM529,990.00 respectively, these models are the first 3-motor electric vehicles in Malaysia, delivering 503 PS with 973 Nm of torque. Equipped with three asynchronous motors, it achieves sportscar acceleration (0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds) and a top speed of 210 km/h.

The 114 kWh battery pack enables a WLTP range of up to 471 km for the Sportback and 458 km for the SQ8 e-tron. Charging capabilities include up to 170 kW at DC charging points, allowing a 31-minute charge from 10% to 80% state of charge. A 22 kW AC charger can charge from 0% to 100% in 9.15 hours.

Both variants can be purchased with an optional Audi Assurance Package, extending the warranty period to 5 years, free scheduled maintenance for the first 3 years, and complimentary roadside assistance for the first 5 years, with the battery system covered separately by an 8-year or 160,000 km.
