Mercedes-Benz EQ customers can now enjoy even greater peace of mind and
flexibility with exclusive access to the MB Platinum 5 plan, following Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s
collaboration with Power-Up (P.UP) by Nazamax Malaysia. This on-demand mobile charging
service delivers power directly to the customer’s location, making electric vehicle (EV) ownership
more seamless and convenient.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in strengthening Malaysia’s EV infrastructure by
addressing common charging challenges. The door-to-door service deploys up to 120kWh DC
fast chargers, enabling quick top-ups without requiring the owner to be present.
The pilot service was launched in Penang in September 2024. Following its expansion, it is now
available in the Klang Valley with three mobile charging vans, and will commence operations in
Johor Bahru in Q1 2026, with plans to extend across Peninsular Malaysia by second half of
2026.

The MB Platinum 5 plan offers five mobile charging sessions per month (up to 80% state-of-
charge), each bundled with car hand wash, vacuuming, and tyre shine, within a chosen
subscription period of 1, 6, or 12 months. The plan also includes free service fees and parking up
to RM5 per session. Customers can book via the P.UP mobile app, with the service deployed
directly to their vehicle’s location – whether at home, work, or other destinations – for greater
convenience and reduced downtime.

As Malaysia moves towards greener transport solutions, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia continues to
support the country’s mobility transition by offering the Luxury of Choice – a commitment that
gives customers a full spectrum of drivetrain options, including internal combustion engine (ICE),
plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and battery electric (BEV) vehicles. Services like P.UP’s mobile charging
will be crucial in this journey, offering convenience, reliability, and flexibility while ensuring
Mercedes-Benz EQ customers have easy, dependable access to power anytime, anywhere.
