Munich, September 8, 2025 – XPENG, a leading AI-driven mobility company, unveiled its latest innovations at IAA Mobility 2025, reinforcing its mission to shape the future of smart mobility through cars, flying vehicles, and humanoid robots.
The highlight was the European debut of the Next P7, a sports sedan that blends futuristic design, AI-powered intelligence, and supercar performance. It delivers 593 PS, accelerates 0–100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and recently set an EV endurance record of 3,961 km in 24 hours.

XPENG also announced the opening of its Munich R&D Center — the company’s first in Europe — to drive co-innovation with European partners and accelerate AI mobility adoption globally.

“With the Next P7, we show how AI transforms vehicles into intelligent companions,” said He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPENG. “Our Munich R&D Center strengthens our commitment to Europe, building smarter, sustainable mobility together.”
Driving Global AI Mobility
XPENG’s self-developed full-stack AI ecosystem integrates vehicles, cloud, and computing to deliver top-class smart driving. Key milestones include:
- L4 Autonomous Driving: Mass production targeted by 2026, with Robotaxi trials already underway in China.

Expanding Beyond Roads
XPENG continues to push mobility frontiers:
- Flying Cars: XPENG AEROHT’s “Land Aircraft Carrier” will make its international debut flight in Dubai this October. With 5,000 pre-orders, mass production is expected in late 2026.
- Humanoid Robotics: The IRON robot, developed over five years, is in factory training and slated for mass production in 2026. A next-gen humanoid will debut in Q4 2025.

“From our first IAA appearance in 2023 to today, XPENG has become the world’s sixth-largest EV maker, serving users in over 46 markets,” said Dr. Brian Gu, Vice Chairman and President. “We will keep delivering AI-driven innovations to accelerate the shift to sustainable mobility worldwide.”
