The Story
Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has made its first appearance at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, showcasing its latest products and outlining its future growth strategy under the theme “Beyond Mobility. Defined by Excellence.”
Since launching in Malaysia in December 2024, Zeekr has accumulated more than 4,000 vehicle registrations according to JPJ data up to May 2026, positioning the company as Malaysia’s No.1 Premium EV Brand.
According to Zeekr Malaysia General Manager Eddy Lu, the achievement reflects the strong reception Malaysian consumers have given the brand’s premium electric vehicle offerings and ownership experience.
As part of its KLIMS showcase, Zeekr unveiled two new flagship models that are now open for booking.
The first is the Zeekr 009 Grand, a four-seat ultra-luxury MPV that focuses heavily on rear passenger comfort. Key highlights include executive seats with hot stone massage functions, a 43-inch MiniLED entertainment display, 31-speaker premium audio system, an 18-litre refrigerator, privacy glass and premium cabin materials including Himalayan marble trim.
Joining it is the all-new Zeekr 9X, a flagship luxury SUV built on the company’s SEA-S platform featuring a 900V architecture. The SUV delivers up to 1,030kW of power, enabling a claimed 0-100km/h sprint in just 3.1 seconds while offering a driving range of up to 1,250km (CLTC). The model also supports ultra-fast charging, allowing a 20% to 80% recharge in only 8.5 minutes.
Beyond new vehicles, Zeekr also announced the introduction of Zeekr Power, its dedicated charging ecosystem. The first flagship charging station will be located at XPark Sunway Serene and feature charging speeds of up to 480kW DC.
The company also revealed plans to expand its Malaysian network from eight outlets currently to 18 outlets nationwide by the end of 2026, alongside 12 dedicated service centres.
