JETOUR T2 i-DM PHEV Launched in Malaysia at RM162,800, Offering Up to 1,200km Range

Kuala Lumpur, 19 September 2026 – JETOUR Malaysia has officially launched the new JETOUR T2 i-DM, bringing plug-in hybrid power to its rugged SUV lineup with a combination of strong performance, over 100km of pure electric driving range and a claimed combined range of up to 1,200km.

Priced at RM162,800, the T2 i-DM combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a dual-motor electric system and a dedicated hybrid transmission, giving it a total system output of up to 265kW and 610Nm.

1,200km Range with 100km+ of Pure EV Driving

At the heart of the T2 i-DM is a 1.5-litre TGDi dedicated hybrid engine, paired with a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (3DHT) and dual electric motors.

The system produces:

• 265kW maximum combined output
• 610Nm maximum torque
• Up to 1,200km combined driving range
• 100+km pure electric driving range
• 18.4kWh LFP battery

The battery also features IP68 protection, underbody protection and high-temperature resistance, while a rapid high-voltage power cut-off system is included for additional safety.

For those looking to power external equipment, the T2 i-DM also supports up to 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.

Charging Takes Less Than 30 Minutes for 30–80%

The T2 i-DM supports both AC and DC charging.

With a compatible DC charger, its 57kW DC charging system can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in 27 minutes or less.

Charging options include:

• DC 57kW: 30–80% in ≤27 minutes
• AC 6.6kW: 30–100% in ≤3 hours
• Portable AC 2.2kW: 30–100% in ≤6 hours

That gives owners the flexibility to use fast charging on longer journeys while still having conventional AC charging options at home.

Rugged SUV Design

The T2 i-DM retains the rugged design that has become a key part of the T2’s identity.

Exterior highlights include 20-inch Trailblazer Alloy Wheels, Auto LED Headlamps with JETOUR’s Signature Wordlight, and door mirrors with reversing mode.

At the rear, the SUV continues with its rear-mounted spare tyre, while an electric suction back door adds a little more convenience when loading luggage or equipment.

Premium Cabin with 15.6-inch Display

Inside, the T2 i-DM gets a technology-focused cabin centred around a large 15.6-inch multimedia display, complete with a dedicated hybrid interface.

JETOUR is also offering its Insurance Programme, which includes wallbox coverage of up to RM5,000 and third-party personal liability coverage of up to RM50,000.
