Petaling Jaya, 12 January 2026 — JETOUR Malaysia has announced that the upcoming JETOUR T2 has earned a 5-Star safety rating from the ASEAN New Car Assessment Programme (ASEAN NCAP) under the latest 2021–2025 assessment protocol, achieving an impressive overall score of 86.50 points.
The strong result highlights JETOUR’s commitment to safety engineering and occupant protection, reinforcing confidence ahead of the T2’s official Malaysian debut in Q1 2026.
Strong Performance Across All Safety Categories
Weighing 1,870 kg, the JETOUR T2 delivered solid results across all four ASEAN NCAP assessment pillars:
- Adult Occupant Protection (AOP): 37.17 / 40 points
- Child Occupant Protection (COP): 15.94 / 20 points
- Safety Assist (SA): 17.14 / 20 points
- Motorcycle Safety (MS): 16.25 / 20 points
These results underscore the SUV’s well-rounded safety performance, offering reassurance to both drivers and passengers while addressing the needs of diverse road users across the ASEAN region.

The 5-star rating comes at a pivotal time as the JETOUR T2 prepares to enter the Malaysian market. The recognition reflects JETOUR’s focus on meeting the growing expectations of modern motorists, where safety is just as important as design, performance, and technology.
