Kuala Lumpur, 30 September 2026 – JETOUR’s latest adventure-focused model, the JETOUR G700, is heading into some of the world’s toughest environments alongside renowned explorer and survivalist Ed Stafford.
Following its preview at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, the G700 will feature in Season 2 of Discovery’s Adventure of Extremes, where it will accompany Stafford across remote wilderness, rugged mountains and volcanic landscapes spanning three continents.
From KLIMS to the World’s Toughest Terrains
The collaboration between JETOUR Auto and Discovery will see the G700 take on a very different kind of vehicle test.
Rather than being showcased solely through conventional automotive demonstrations, the SUV will become part of Stafford’s exploration journey, serving as his mobile base as he tackles challenging environments around the world.
The series will put the G700 alongside Stafford as he faces unpredictable terrain and conditions in some of the planet’s most demanding landscapes.
Exploring with Ed Stafford
For those familiar with extreme survival television, Stafford is no stranger to challenging environments.
Known as the “Modern Robinson Crusoe”, Stafford became the first person to walk the entire length of the Amazon River and has since gained international recognition for his survival and exploration challenges.
His previous series, Marooned with Ed Stafford: Chapter of Water, reportedly accumulated 360 million global impressions in 2025 and won the Gold Award in the Reality Series category at the 2025 Telly Awards.
Stafford will also take on solo survival challenges in Marooned with Ed Stafford: Chapter of Fire, travelling across Ecuador, Colombia, Morocco and Iceland without food, tools or a camera crew.
These locations and extreme environments will also feature in Adventure of Extremes Season 2, bringing Stafford and the G700 together for a series of real-world adventures.
The G700 Becomes an Exploration Base
For Adventure of Extremes, the G700 takes on more than just the role of a vehicle.
The SUV will serve as Stafford’s mobile exploration base, accompanying him through remote and challenging environments as the series follows his journey.
This gives viewers the opportunity to see the G700 in situations that are considerably different from a typical road test or showroom demonstration.
Instead of simply highlighting specifications, the series focuses on how the vehicle fits into an unpredictable adventure where the environment itself becomes part of the challenge.
Built Around JETOUR’s “Travel+” Philosophy
The collaboration also ties into JETOUR’s “Travel+” strategy, which focuses on using travel and exploration to demonstrate vehicle capability.
At the same time, Stafford’s approach to exploration reflects JETOUR’s “Beyond the Horizon” philosophy — going further, venturing into unfamiliar territory and embracing challenges along the way.
The partnership therefore brings together two sides of adventure: Stafford’s experience in extreme survival and JETOUR’s focus on exploration-oriented vehicles.
Adventure Meets Automotive
For viewers, Adventure of Extremes Season 2 offers something different from a traditional automotive programme.
Instead of simply presenting the G700 through specifications and controlled demonstrations, the SUV will be placed within a real exploration story alongside one of the world’s best-known survivalists.
The result is a combination of survival, exploration and off-road adventure, with the G700 becoming part of Stafford’s journey through some of the world’s most challenging landscapes.
Adventure of Extremes Season 2
Short episodes from Adventure of Extremes Season 2 began rolling out in August 2026, with new episodes being released progressively.
For Malaysian viewers, the series provides an opportunity to see the JETOUR G700 take on environments far removed from everyday driving, while following Ed Stafford as he tackles another round of extreme survival challenges.
With the G700 joining him along the way, the series puts JETOUR’s adventure-oriented SUV into a setting where the road — and sometimes even the idea of a road — is anything but predictable.
