Mazda CX-8 2.5 Turbo “Bus Ride” Up Genting On a Weekend Drive With Friends / YS Khong Driving

This time we take the 2.5 loter turbocharged Mazda CX-8 up the mountain, but with 4 passengers.

Having passengers loads up the brakes and suspension a little, but the CX-8 takes it quite well.

We were pushing it quite a bit, and the biggest punishment is to the braking system, which got a bit hot, prompting the SCBS (Smart City Braking System) to issue a warning and cause the vehicle to go into limp mode.

It is just part of the safety system, and not a failure of any component, as everything was back to normal after it cooled down enough.

The CX-8 performed very well throughout the journey, and should be okay if driven normally.
