BMW iX 50 X-Drive Fully Electric Shakedown on Genting/ Big & Bulky But Still Agile/ YS Khong Driving

The last big SUV I have taken up this mountain was the BMW X5 PHEV, and it was surprisingly agile, and this tine it was the IX 50 XDrive.

I thought it would be a lot heavier, but to my surprise ( much later) I discoverrd the body frame is largely made up of carbon fibre, and that helped to keep the weight down to a reasonable level.

To give credit where it is due, BMW has done quite a decent job of keeping the ride and handling on an excellent level.

Yes, the IX50 is not something you can bully, and it can and will put some performance cars to shame.
