Jaguar F Type, 2017 V8, 5.0 liter, 550 HP, 680 Nm Max Torque/ Genting Hill Climb / YS Khong Driving

The Jaguar F Type is the worthy successor of the iconic E-Type, but is a more modernized version of the raw roadster that is now a collector’s item.

I have always been dreaming of the day when I would get a chance to actually drive an E-Type, but it seems fate has taken a hand and allowed me to experience the F Type first,, and of all places, on a climb up Genting, our favorite driving course.

It is all thanks to one of our avid viewers, (who wishes to remain anonymous), who got in touch with us and asked if I would like to have a go at his car. And he travelled approximately 400+ kilometers to meet up here in the Klang Valley for this to happen. (Thanks, bro!)

This was an opportunity that just cannot be missed, and despite having to attend a car launch the same morning, we managed to squeeze in a quick drive (hahaha, accidental pun) up the mountain and we were back in Petaling Jaya by 0900 hrs.

So sorry we couldn’t even have time to have a quick bite and a cup of coffee, but thank you Mr. Anonymous, for letting us have this opportunity, and also allowing us to share this wonderful drive with our viewers, despite my not being able to discharge the full energy of this awesome machine onto the road.
